Good Afternoon Buckaroo Community!
Our district has worked hard over the past few years through some very unprecedented times and have pushed and continue to push to do what’s best for our students! We are excited to announce that our very own Smackover High School was recognized by the University of Arkansas as a school with the Best Growth in Math Award for the Southwest Region for the 2021 school year (3rd place)! Extensive time went into the qualifications for this achievement and if you notice the schools we are competing and performing with we are headed in the right direction! Although the HS has earned the spotlight for this award, this is an award for SNSD. Congrats to Mrs. O’Guinn, the HS staff/ team, and our students for blocking out the noise, staying focused on what matters, and earning this achievement. More info provided below from U of A.
