Berta Huarte was named Smackover High School Student of the Week. Berta is an exchange student from Pamplona, Spain, living with the Jerry Family this year. She is a senior at Smackover and participated on the SHS tennis team this fall. Berta was described as hard working with a good attitude and also doing a great job of adapting to a new country and culture. We are proud of you and glad you chose to be a Buckaroo, Berta! Berta was presented with a Sonic card and a certificate from principal Bernadette O'Guinn. Congratulations and Merry Christmas to Berta Huarte!
