Miss Smuckover Pageant 2020 for SHS will be held Saturday, January 25th at Hobgood Auditorium beginningsat 6:00 p.m. Contestant fee is $5.00 and Escort Fee is $5.00

Lock Down Security Drill There will be a lock down security drill this morning at 9 A.M at the Middle School and Preschool. Parents, please do not worry this is just a drill, if you have any questions please contact the middle school and preschool offices for more information.

From the Office of Superintendent Jason Black: There was an electrical smoke smell coming from one outlet in the main building of Smackover High School. The high school was promptly evacuated. There was no fire on the high school campus. Everything has been repaired and resolved. All students, staff, and faculty have returned to their classes safely.

Senior graduation pictures are available to be picked up from the SHS office.

Next week NES, NMS, SES, and SHS will dismiss at 2 PM on Tuesday, May 21st - Thursday, May 23rd for Semester Tests. SPS will run a regular schedule on those days. We will have another early dismissal on our last day of school, Friday, May 24th for ALL of our campuses, including SPS.

Reminder: The SNSD will dismiss at 12:30 PM on Monday, May 13th, for our Senior Graduation Activities. This early dismissal is for all of our campuses.

Softball Update! The Smackover High School girls softball team won their game today! The score was 12-2 in 5 innings! Their next game will be played at 12:00 tomorrow. Congratulations, Lady Buckaroos!

Our Norphlet Elementary and Norphlet Middle School now have power! All of our Smackover-Norphlet campuses will be OPEN for school on Friday, May 10th! See you tomorrow!

The Smackover-Norphlet School District will be CLOSED on Friday, April 19th, for the Good Friday holiday. Classes will resume on Monday, April 22nd.

Softball Game Rescheduled: The softball game against Junction City which was scheduled for Thursday will be played Wednesday at 4:30 pm.

There will be a Junior High Cheer meeting for cheerleaders and a guardian on April 4th at 6:00 pm in the Norphlet Middle School library.

Don't Forget: The Smackover-Norphlet School District will be CLOSED next week, March 18th - 22nd, for Spring Break! Again..... NO SCHOOL next week for any of our campuses. Classes will resume on Monday, March 25th. Have a GREAT Spring Break!!!
