If anyone wishes to purchase a senior ad in the 2020-21 SHS Derrick (yearbook), the final deadline for these ads is February 26th. No ads will be accepted after this date. Contract letters may be picked up in the SHS Office or by contacting Tonya Corley at SHS. 1/2 the money is due at that time.

2019-2020 Yearbooks are here!!!!! Graduates of 2020 may pick their yearbook up in the office (if they ordered one) beginning Friday, January 8th. Anyone wishing to purchase a yearbook may do so in the SHS Office for $45.

NMS is having a canned food drive! The cans will be delivered to a local food bank. Help us as our students help others! Share what you CAN!

The Norphlet Middle School virtual students' school pictures will be held on Tuesday, November 3rd at 8:00. The students should enter the south gates and go to the auditorium.

NMS students had the opportunity to participate in the library's Book Character Pumpkin Contest. Winners for the event were: 1st Place: Aubrey Hendricks won $25 for "The Wizard of Oz" ; 2nd Place: Jewel Arnold won $15 for "Cinderella" and a 3-way tie for 3rd Place with each winning $10: Ella Black with "Grenade", Lilly King with "Sisters", and Mrs. Hallie Woods' Class with "There Was An Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly!" All participants and winners were treated with Sonic drinks for their efforts.

Congratulations to our Jr. High Buckaroo cross country runners for their effort at the Wildcat Jr. High Invitational. Jr. Boys' Awards - Zander Olds 4th place, and Evan Phillips 14th place. Jr. Girls' Awards - Abby Brewer 8th place, Ciana Olds 9th place, Lilly King 10th place, Oakley Hubbard 11th place, and Emily Camacho 13th place. Great job for the team!

2021 Senior pictures will be taken on Tuesday, September 8th. Pictures will be taken that morning so seniors need to come to school prepared to have their photo taken.
