Good afternoon, Buckaroos!
Earlier today Governor Hutchinson made an announcement that all Arkansas schools would be closed starting Tuesday, March 17, for two weeks. Districts have the ability to make the decision on whether or not to close school Monday.
Out of an abundance of caution, the Smackover-Norphlet School District will be closing Monday, March 16.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but we would rather be overly cautious during this time than under cautious.
Please begin utilizing AMI materials beginning on Monday and monitor the website, blog, and local news for more updates as this is an evolving situation and more changes could occur.
